Angel & Matthew | Walt Disney World Wedding
May 16, 2024In the heart of Walt Disney World’s Epcot, amidst the enchanting setting of the Japan Pavilion, Angel and Matthew embarked on a journey of love and magic that transcended time and space. From an early morning ceremony filled with fairy tale moments to a joyous reception and a spectacular fireworks finale, their wedding day was nothing short of a dream come true. I am so thankful that I had the honor of capturing the magic and memories of their special day.
Before first rays of sunlight kissed the horizon, Angel arrived at the Japan Pavilion in a Cinderella’s horse-drawn carriage, a vision of grace and elegance. With Epcot’s iconic Spaceship Earth in view, she made her way down the aisle to join Matthew, her prince charming, for a pre sunrise ceremony that was unforgettable.
Greeted by the serene beauty of the Japan Pavilion, Angel and Matthew exchanged vows in the presence of their loved ones, with Matthew’s sister serving as their officiant. The Japan Pavilion held special significance for the couple and was the perfect choice for their ceremony.
As I reflect on Angel and Matthew’s wedding day, I am reminded of the power of love to create moments of pure magic and joy. Their celebration was a testament to the beauty of dreams coming true, and the joy that comes from sharing those dreams with the ones we love.
Following the ceremony, the celebration continued at the Living Seas inside Epcot, where Angel and Matthew were joined by a special guest – none other than Mickey Mouse himself! With a flourish of magic, Mickey surprised guests and helped the couple cut their wedding cake, adding an extra sprinkle of Disney charm to their joyous occasion.
Angel and Matthew’s reception was filled with charming touches inspired by the beloved movie “Up.” Their cake dazzled with an “Up”-themed topper, capturing the whimsy and adventure of Carl and Ellie’s journey. Guests were invited to leave their mark in an unconventional guest book adorned with “Up” balloons, symbolizing the couple’s shared dreams and aspirations. Adding to the Disney magic, Angel and Matthew introduced their guests to the enchanting world of Disney pin trading by gifting them special pins, fostering connections and creating lasting memories as they embarked on their own adventures.
As night fell over Epcot, Angel and Matthew hosted a magical dessert party to watch the fireworks illuminate the sky. Guests indulged in a delectable array of treats, including Mickey pretzels, popcorn, and the viral cheeseburger spring rolls. And then they toasted to the newlyweds and watched in awe as the night sky came alive with color and light.
In keeping with the spirit of adventure and fun, Angel and Matthew treated their guests to a “ride mix-in” experience after the dessert party. The entire wedding party, filled with laughter and excitement, embarked on a journey through the whimsical world of Ratatouille in Epcot. As they raced through the sights, sounds, and smells of Gusteau’s Parisian kitchen, they created memories that would last a lifetime, celebrating their love with a touch of Disney magic and whimsy.
