Brie & Miguel | Universal Harry Potter World

As a huuuuuge Harry Potter fan myself (Ravenclaw here!),  you can imagine my excitement when Brie asked if she could do photos post wedding at Universal Studios instead of doing engagement photos. Of course I said yes! We went in December and while it was a little crowded, we always try to make it seem as though you have the park to yourself.

We started off at the signature Universal globe, took a ride on the Hogwarts Express, visited Knockturn Alley, and ended up at Hogwarts itself! While at Hogwarts, I said I wished they had some wands we could do photos with. Well much to our surprise, a very nice woman and young boy let us borrow theirs for a few minutes. I promised them their wands would be posted on my website and “famous”, so that last photo is dedicated to them and their kindness.

Jenny & Dirk | Walt Disney World Wedding

Jenny & Dirk are one of the absolute sweetest couples I have ever had the pleasure of working with. They are just genuinely kind people and I am blessed to have had a chance to work with them.

They got ready at the Grand Floridian Resort, and Jenny’s room had a monorail view that was so much fun!

They opted to not do a first look, so we kept them separate until their ceremony. I just love the Grand Floridian, it has so many fun spots both inside and outside for photos. We decided to do most of their photos indoors since they loved the lobby and grand staircase. And who doesn’t love that chandelier?? (I know I do!)

How cute are the wristlets that Jenny got for her bride squad?

These two said their vows at the iconic Wedding Pavilion. They ended with a bubble exit and some pictures at Picture Point!

After their ceremony we headed to California Grill up in the Contemporary Resort. I love the view this location has! They had a magic mirror photo booth that was a big hit too!

And they ended the night with a dessert party at Mexico in Epcot. This was our first time doing a dessert party at this location, and it did not disappoint!

Maria & Jorge | Walt Disney World Vow Renewal

Wow, what a couple of years it has been!! Life is slowly feeling a little more normal now that we are finished photographing all of our weddings that were meant for 2020 (thanks, covid!). Over the next few months I am going to do several blog posts of just a few of my weddings over the last couple years. I feel like they all deserve a place here.

Let’s start with Maria & Jorge. They reached out to me about doing a vow renewal at Walt Disney World, and so of course I was excited. Their ceremony was at Oak Manor, which is at Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside Resort. Its such a beautiful ceremony location, and I feel like not much decor is needed since it’s so picturesque on its own. It feels very secluded, since its in the middle of a large lawn and not on a heavily traveled path. They had a bubble exit (always a good choice!) and it could not have been a more perfect day!

After their ceremony, we stayed at Port Orleans for awhile to do some family photos and of course some newlywed photos

Their reception was at the Living Seas, which is located inside Epcot. I LOVE their decor choices- the balloons and lights made it look like we were actually under the sea! So fun! (peep the hidden mickey in the pearls…)

It rained that night and forced them to move their dessert party inside (meaning we got to stay at Living Seas a little bit longer!). Luckily it stopped raining JUST in time for fireworks so we ran over to Germany in Epcot!

Thanks for having me along for your best day ever!!
